We carefully chose the beautiful English heritage Berkshire pig due to the breeds heritage classification, docility, hardiness to roaming the paddocks, excellent fat qualities and because they are grown entirely for their superior flavour. We love our pigs and we love sharing their life on the farm with our followers.

The Pork

The pork produced by our pigs is simply incredible. The flesh is darker in colour and has a firm feel, tastes rich, sweet and has a clean aftertaste, soft fat and great marbling which makes for great flavour and juiciness. This is what real grass fed pork should taste like: no additives, no moisture infusions, no hormones and no antibiotics, just real, natural pork.

About Bundarra

When you step onto the farm, you will see the open paddocks, see black pigs under the trees and know that this a place where the people who own the land are passionate about what they do and love their animals. This is our farm and we pride ourselves on following soil nurturing bio-dynamic principles and low stress animal management. We are very proud to be hand making all of our own smallgoods and charcuterie on the farm in our farmstead butchery and kitchen without the help of nitrates, preservatives or gluten.
